Details: Fished near Aspen Glade, near
an area called the Pinnacles, and along the
highway near Horca. Also fished where
the Lake Fork meets the Conejos.
Species: Colorado Cutthroats, Browns, and
Rainbows.
How Big: 12" to 15"
Flies Used: Beaded Micro Mayfly #18;
Hopper (submerged) #12; Green Beaded
Pulsating Caddis #16; Blue/Purple Beaded
Copper John #18; Green Beaded Z-Wing
Caddis #16.
Technique: Indicator nymphing.
Weather: mid 70’s; partly cloudy;
intermittent sprinkles; occasional thunder
and slightly breezy.
