Details: Fished just upriver from the
Madison Junction, Midway Geyser, Biscuit
Basin, and along Firehole Canyon Drive.
Species: Rainbows and Browns
How Big: up to 19"
Flies Used: Beaded Prince Nymph #10;
Atomic Worm #8; Beaded Micro Mayfly
#18; RS2 #20; Elk Hair Caddis (tan and
black) #12; Blue Wing Olive #20.
Technique: Indicator nymph and Dries.
Weather: Cloudy, and occasional snow.
Last 3 days were clear, cold and windy at
times. Temp was 30 to 50 degrees.
